Tan In A Can!

This is a very important post for those of us who enjoy having sun-kissed summertime skin but live in the frozen winter tundra that is New England! I thoroughly enjoy lying in the REAL summer sun, soaking up Vitamin D and watching my skin color transform from sickly white to a beautiful bronze. Notice how I said REAL. I am completely OFF tanning booths/beds. I was never one of those girls that went tanning every day...luckily in high school, my basketball coach had a "no tanning" rule during the season and my mother never really let me go anyway. At the time, I wanted to go DESPERATELY, but looking back, I'm very glad I didn't for one reason or another. Over the past few years, I've been going once a week or once every two weeks in the winter ONLY just to feel like a human (and to basically get warm!) As I approach the lovely age of 30, I have started to treat my body and skin much better so I have eliminated tanning completely. This doesn't mean I actually WANT to be pale this winter...it just means I need to find some alternative ways to get that tint of color! I have been researching lots of skin care brands to achieve what I'm looking for and have compiled a short list of my favorites. Some are pricier than others...so do whatever feels comfortable for you!
