Favorite Food: She absolutely LOVES couscous! I have to give her all of the food I want her to eat first before bringing out her "coo coo" (as she calls it). She is also loving zucchini and black beans as well. Her new favorite snack is a graham cracker :)
Favorite Thing To Do: She has an obsession with the outdoors, which is ok for now, but definitely makes me a little worried about the wintertime! Her favorite thing to do is to carry around her little bucket and collect a variety of sticks, rocks, leaves and anything else she can find!
Most Aww-Worthy Moment: London has been able to say "mama" for a few months now, but she had only been saying it on demand until lately. Now on her own, she'll look at me and say "hi mumma" which basically melts my heart. Another thing she loves to do (and I love it as well) is when I'm doing the dishes, she will almost always come stand at my feet, look up at me and say "mumma" with a big smile.
Most Exciting Thing She Did: She now says "basketball" ...which we absolutely die over. Since her daddy and I both played basketball our entire lives, and Chris is now a coach, it is pretty perfect that she loves to say it!
Fun Things We Did This Month: This is a new category I added because I want to be able to look back and get a sneak peek of the places we visited and things that we did! We spent the day at the Boston Museum of Science and also did a separate day at the Portland Children's Museum in Maine. We paid a visit to Drumlin Farm to see the animals and have a picnic, which was super fun! We also went to Maine a few times to visit family and friends :)
Biggest Thing I've Learned: Well, I learn so much every single day, that it's hard to choose just one thing. I'd have to say that I'm trying to learn to carve out time for myself. I may have already highlighted this a few months back because I know how important it is, but it's a work in progress. Last week was a particularly long week when London became sick with bronchiolitis. I found myself in a pretty negative space and thankfully, we had a trip to Maine planned because I knew I just needed some time away. Sure enough, my husband and I had 4(ish) hours to ourselves, and it definitely worked wonders for my mental state!
