Chris and I have a tradition, where every Friday night we make homemade pizzas, crack open a bottle of wine, decorate our pizza while enjoying a glass together. It's quickly turned into my favorite night of the week because 1. Wine! (duh) 2. It's Friday, and 3. It's a date night that we don't have to get dressed up for + a most importantly, a time for us to reconnect and catch up on the week! We usually end up sitting at the table for at least an hour just talking...and it's so good for the soul. Not to mention, the pizza is pretty freaking good too! ;)
Here's what you'll need:
- 1, 12" Rustic Crust Old World Flatbread pizza crust
- 1/2 jar of Prego pizza sauce
- 8 slices of fresh mozzarella
- shredded mozzarella
- green pepper, sliced thin
- red onion, sliced thin
- pepperoni slices
Directions: Heat oven to 425 degrees. Decorate the pizza crust to your liking a.k.a. as much cheese + toppings as you desire ... pop it in the oven for 10-12 minutes and BOOM! You've got a bomb pizza that I know you'll enjoy! It's so fun and easy! Also, Chris and I eat the whole thing so...there's that.
Have a great Friday, loves ... and cheers to the freakin weekend!
