When I first stumbled across ONEHOPE on Instagram, I was super excited because....WINE! ;) I saw their beautiful wine bottles (yes, some even have glitter), and I was instantly drawn to their cool aesthetic. When I started looking a little closer and really delving into what ONEHOPE actually stands for as a company, I was hooked.
To give a little background, ONEHOPE was birthed in 2007 by a group of young entrepreneurs with a dream and a desire to give back. With the cornerstone of their brand established, they started with just 168 cases of wine and have grown into a lifestyle brand that has donated (to date) 1.8 million dollars to various charities. Not to mention, they now operate a world-class vineyard in Napa Valley! (Add that to the "must visit" list) The impact that they're making is felt worldwide, and I am just so excited to shed some light on such an inspirational company!
Thought I would also throw in a little taste review as well because, WINE not! (See what I did there?!) I was able to test the ONE HOPE California Pinot Noir as well as the Pink Glitter Edition California Chardonnay. Let me start by saying when I drink red wine, I only drink Pinot Noir .. so basically I'm a wine expert ;) ...ok, not really, but I definitely know my fair share about red Pinots! I absolutely LOVE this one SO much! It is so light and refreshing (which, in my opinion, is hard to find in reds). I also loved the sort of spicy undertone that it had. My husband was a BIG fan too, and when it comes to wine - he's hard to please! Even better, for all my pet lovers out there - buy a bottle of this and help fund pet adoptions! Now you can drink for a good cause :)
The Chardonnay is pink, glittery, and beautiful for a reason! Every two bottles bought will fund a clinical trial for one woman with breast cancer. How amazing is that? Makes my heart so happy! I'm not going to lie, I felt a tad guilty opening a bottle that is so lovely ... but the guilt went away after a glass (or two)! If you read the online description of this wine, "comforting aromas of fresh baked apple and pear pie...warm butterscotch, vanilla and toffee flavors..." There's more, but that's all I needed. Drinking a glass of this is like the warm bear hug you've wanted all day. Haha - truthfully, the only way I could describe it. So delicious - a MUST try!
Take a minute and check out this amazing company over a glass for "wine Wednesday!"

Ashley
