It's hard to believe that in just a week, we will have a 10-month old. I can't allow myself to really "go there" yet or the tears will start flowing. I find myself saying "I can't wait for her to walk..." and in the next moment, "I can't believe she's pulling herself up! Where's my little girl at?" Parenthood is so crazy in the sense that one second, you can be wishing for the big milestones to occur, and the next be cursing time for passing so quickly.
Here's a little update on my 9 (almost 10) month old!
Favorite Food: She is LOVING avocado at the moment and no complaints here! She also LIVES for bananas ... and she doesn't want me to cut them up - she wants to haul off the whole thing. Unfortunately (for her), Mommy wins that battle!
Favorite Thing To Do: Thank GOD our baby loves to be outdoors. She is a fan of her stroller so when it's nice, we can go for nice long walks. She also loves to make a pit-stop at the playground for some swing action! (Who doesn't?)
Oufit Of The Month: With the warm weather, we've been able to put her in some cute summer dresses and rompers! At least long enough to snap some photos! (You can shop some of London's favorite summer essentials here)
Most "Aww Worthy" Moment: Lo now gives kisses! Not all the time, sometimes she plays hard to get ... but I will say "Can Mumma have a kiss?" and MOST of the time, she will turn and give me the most amazing open-mouth drooly kiss, and it's like heaven. Best feeling in the world!
Most Exciting Thing She Did: London is now waving and saying "Hi!" which is the cutest thing I've ever seen! She's also pulling herself up, which is new as of a few days ago!
Biggest Thing I've Learned: Trying NOT to hover! Because she is so mobile and now pulling herself up, I want to protect her from everything, but the truth is, she's going to get bumps and bruises along the way. I think it's important to allow her to explore and find things out on her own, so I'm currently working on this!
